Catherine is a graduate student at the University of Pennsylvania pursuing her Masters in Education Policy.  She began her career in education as a Teach for America corps member teaching middle school math in Dallas, TX. Prior to moving to Philadelphia, Catherine worked with the National Alliance for Public Charter Schools in Washington, D.C. as a Policy and Advocacy Fellow through the non-profit organization Leadership for Education Equity.  Catherine is a native of Raleigh, N.C. and holds B.A.’s in Political Science and Communication Studies from Southern Methodist University.  When she isn’t working or in school, you can find Catherine outdoors with her mini-Australian Shepherd, Joe.
